Belle Meade Boulevardier

Ingredients:

1.5 ounce Belle Meade Bourbon
1 ounce Carpano Antica Vermouth
¾ ounce Campari
½ ounce Cherry Heering

Build: Stir

Glass: Double Rocks

Ice: Single Sphere or Cube

Garnish: Luxardo Cherry and Flamed Orange Express Over Cocktail or Orange Peel Express and Insert

Instructions: Put all ingredients into a mixing glass with ise and stir. Strain into a double rocks glass over ice and garnish. 

If you’re familiar with the area of town called Belle Meade in Nashville you’ll no doubt know the main drag there is Belle Meade Boulevard. Further, in downtown Nashville stand cherry trees that were given to the city as a gift from the Japanese Consulate-General when it relocated in 2008 from New Orleans to Nashville. Thus the city is the inspiration behind the name and the flavors.
