The Absinthe Father

Ingredients:

2 ounces Belle Meade Bourbon
¾ ounce Fresh Lemon Juice
½ ounce Ginger Syrup
½ ounce Raw Sugar Cane Juice
2 dashes Orange Bitters
Rinse glass with Absinthe

Build: Shake

Glass: Double Rocks

Ice: Single Cube or Sphere

Garnish: Orange Peel, not expressed

Instructions: Place all ingredients but Absinthe in a shaker with ice and shake. Pour a small amount of Absinthe in you rocks glass and swirl it to make sure it coats the interior of the glass to the rim and then carefully add your cube or sphere to the glass. Strain the drink into the glass over the ice, garnish and enjoy.
