Belle Meade Bourbon Cask Strength Reserve Batch Profiles
Just like everyone who drinks it, every batch of Belle Meade Bourbon Cask Strength Reserve has its own character and tells its own story. Below you’ll find a list of all of our Cask Strength Reserve batches and their story. Let’s have some fun.
Batch 26-05
Git’churrown Glass: 116.1 Proof
Nobody remembers exactly who said it first. Some swear it started at a backyard cookout. Others claim it was after a long night when one pour somehow turned into three stories and a plate of churros nobody ordered but everybody ate. Either way, the phrase stuck. Every time someone reached for the bottle a little too confidently, somebody across the room would grin and say, “Hey now…git’churrown glass.”
And honestly, it became good advice. Because this isn’t the kind of bourbon that disappears quietly into the background. It has a way of making itself comfortable. One sip turns into another. Conversations get a little louder, laughs last a little longer, and suddenly nobody’s in a hurry to leave. Somewhere along the line, the bottle started showing up at every gathering that mattered—holidays, late nights, front porches, kitchen counters. Not because it was fancy. Because people wanted it there.
These days, if a bottle of Belle Meade Bourbon Cask Strength Reserve appears and somebody says “Git’churrown Glass,” you’ll notice two things happen almost immediately: someone reaches for another pour… and nobody argues with the suggestion.
Nose: Graham Cracker, citrus grove, cherry Starburst
Palate: Fresh baked brownies, churro, dates and raisins, a touch of anise
Finish: Gingerbread spice, pastis, and toasted nuts.
Batch 26-04
Santa’s Gone Surfin’: 115.7 Proof
Only those closest to him, and the locals on a distant shore know, that every year after the last chimney of a very long night of work, Santa takes some “me” time. If you know where to look, you’ll find him just offshore, red coat swapped for board shorts, boots kicked off in the sand, watching the horizon like he’s got nowhere else to be.
No rush. No list. Just the rhythm of the water and a moment that feels well deserved. The locals don’t say much, they’ve seen him enough to know this isn’t a vacation, it’s his tradition, and they wouldn’t dream of spoiling it.
By the time the sun dips low, he’s back on shore, board tucked under one arm, glass in hand. The kind of day that doesn’t need explaining, just repeating. And if you happen to be there, he may share a pour with you, as long as you aren’t on the naughty list.
Nose: Cedar, baking spices, caramel and apple.
Palate: Toasted marshmallow, white chocolate macadamia nut cookie, applewood smoke, orange, and lemon zest.
Finish: Long, with cinnamon, vanilla, and white pepper.
Batch 26-03
Winter in Miami: 116.3 Proof
Meet a new member of the Belle Meade team that doesn’t just show up, it earns its playing time. At first pour, it greets you softly like stepping off a plane into Miami’s warm night air, the pace is easy, and everything feels just a little more relaxed, and then it starts to build. Bright notes of caramel apple and Werther’s butterscotch open the door, followed by a subtle dusting of dry rub spices that rise into a rich, warming crescendo of carajillo character, where deep coffee and vanilla tones meet the sweet warmth of fried buñuelos on Noche Buena.
There’s a contrast here. Relaxed but quietly powerful. Like winter in Miami itself, it’s a place you escape to. Oh, and, it brings a little Dwyane Wade swagger to the team, smooth, composed, and clutch when it matters most.
Batch 26-02
The Filet Of The Neighborhood
The Filet Of The Neighborhood, 116.2 Proof: (Bonus points if you get the reference without looking it up)
The kind of pour that doesn’t just impress, it satisfies. Like a perfectly cooked steak, it delivers that first moment of richness that makes you slow down and settle in. From the start, it’s full, lush, and unmistakably luxurious and thick through the middle with a weight that feels intentional, never overwhelming. There’s a polished ease to it too, polite as hell, balanced and composed, yet quietly indulgent.
On the nose and palate, it opens with playful notes of gumball and bubblegum sweetness, think Bubbalicious and Big Red, before easing into butter cookie richness and a soft wave of pineapple and orchard fruit. Then it deepens, like a steak reaching perfect temperature as it’s sous vide before the final sear, with cinnamon sugar and warm chai latte tones rounding everything out in a long, soothing finish.
This is a true sipper, pleasant, and grounding. It’s the feeling of untying your shoes after a long day, of finally relaxing into the evening. It cuts the edge without losing character, delivering comfort with structure. The Filet Of The Neighborhood isn’t about flash, it’s about substance. A pour that fills the glass the way a great steak fills the plate: rich, balanced, and deeply, unmistakably satisfying.
Batch 26-01
Linger A Little Longer
Linger A Little Longer, 115.5 Proof : Here’s a pour that makes an impression and then gives you every reason to stay. From the first sip, boom, it arrives with energy: a lively burst of cinnamon, like cinnamon candy, bold enough to get your attention and set the tone.
But then it settles, because the best experiences aren’t just about how they start, but how they unfold. The spice eases into something smoother, softer, more inviting. Notes of buttered biscuit and caramel bring a comforting sweetness, while hints of coffee cake, black cherry, and ginger chew add a warm, familiar depth. The spice lingers in gentle pulses, present, but never overpowering, like a conversation that starts with excitement and turns into something easy and enjoyable.
There’s a rhythm to it: bold, then balanced, then quietly persistent. Smooth like butter, full of character, and built to be savored, Linger A Little Longer does exactly what the name promises. It draws you in, settles you down, and keeps you right where you want to be, a sip at a time.
